Our Campuses
Short Hills Campus
Pingry's Short Hills Campus
At our Short Hills Campus, that childlike curiosity that is so critical to developing joy, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning is ever present and always being nurtured. With an average class size of 18 students led by our dynamic and renowned instructors, the foundation for a strong education is built from the everyday connections we form here.
At the Lower School, 28 stunning acres include a brand-new turf field for competitive fun, while the modernized building features active learning spaces for art, drama, and music to encourage creative delight. At our bustling Big Blue Garden—a learning garden and outdoor laboratory where exuberant exploration takes place—a myriad of activities take place, from mindful composting, to employing math skills by calculating optimal grid spacing for crops, to students enjoying the fruits of their labor by sharing their produce in the lunchroom.
Imagine a setting expansive enough for a child’s dreams yet cozy enough to feel like home. A destination where wonder abounds because learning is rooted in experience.

Set against a backdrop of tranquil woodlands, students engage in sustainability practices by working in outdoor spaces such as Pingry’s farm, the forest, and composter, where environmental education takes place not only in the sciences, but in the arts—where choral groups have held performances, and art classes have used nature for their study.
