Taiko, the Japanese word for "drum", is a contemporary art form that utilizes traditional Japanese instruments (primarily drums) in an ensemble. Pingry Taiko, led by the imitable Mr. Leone, can often be heard in Hauser after school, playing the drums with enthusiasm until the whole school is booming along to the rhythm.
We dropped in to see what all the noise is about.
