Where we’re going, and where we’ve been, in sports.
This past week:

- Big Blue Softball shocked the state last week by knocking-off The Hun School and winning the Prep A title for the second time in program history. Casey McKeon ’25 hurled another gem to win that game, then the girls picked up another W the next day with a 5-0 win over Nutley. Yesterday in a win over West Morris, Taylor Francis ‘25 collected her 100th career hit.

- NJ.com #11 Pingry Girls Lacrosse captured their second straight Somerset County Tournament Championship with a 16-9 win over rival Bridgewater-Raritan. Annabelle Mahoney '24 and Ava Kirkwood '25 were on fire, scoring six goals apiece to give Pingry some cushion on the scoreboard.
- NJ.com #2 Pingry Boys Lacrosse 3-peated as Somerset County Tournament Champions for the first time in school history with an 8-6 win over #6 Bernards. Asher Ziv ‘24 scored two goals to hit 196 career points and become Big Blue’s all-time leading point scorer.
- NJ.com #4 Pingry Girls Golf took fourth place at the Tournament of Champions and Big Blue Boys Golf took fourth place out of 23+ teams in the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions. Preston Devieux '27 led Pingry with a 15th place finish (out of 122 golfers), shooting a 2-over 74.
- NJ.com #4 Pingry Boys Tennis showed their depth as they took home their third straight Prep A Championship, despite missing their top singles student-athlete. Our doubles teams swept Lawrenceville, and first-doubles student-athlete Nate Blum ‘24 switched gears successfully to win at third singles, securing the team championship for Big Blue.
