Thirty-seven Pingry School seniors are Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, recognized for their exceptional academic promise. They placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the competition by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Including these 37 students, 162 Pingry students have been Commended Students over the past five years.
