Project Summary

Our project focuses on training a model to detect and classify art images utilizing computer vision and machine learning techniques (deep convolutional neural network). We have collected various forms of art, photographs, and architectural images, and through data augmentation we will train the model using the images. We will generate heat maps to highlight the identified visual design principles corresponding to each VDP in the images.
