Generative AI is a type of artificial intelligence that can create new content, like text, images, music, or code, based on patterns it has learned from existing data. Instead of just answering questions or following rules, it can help generate ideas, summarize information, write stories, or even simulate conversations.

Large Language Models, or LLMs, are advanced AI tools that generate text by predicting what words are likely to come next in a sentence. They learn from large amounts of text, like books and websites, to understand how language works. When you type a question or prompt, the model looks at the words you've written and responds based on patterns it has seen during training.

• Misinformation and “Hallucinations”
  LLMs sometimes generate text that sounds right but isn’t actually true. They don’t browse the internet or check facts—they guess based on patterns. This means they can spread false or misleading information without realizing it.
• Bias and Fairness
  Because LLMs learn from real-world text, they can pick up and repeat biases, including stereotypes or unfair assumptions about race, gender, or culture. Without care, these models can reinforce harmful ideas.
