Dr. Amy Varo-Haub

Interim Middle School Director

Dr. Amy Varo-Haub is an experienced school leader and educator with a deep commitment to student-centered learning. Throughout her career, she has led academic programs, supported educators in refining their practice, and helped build school communities in which collaboration and curiosity are central to the learning experience.

As Interim Director of the Middle School, Dr. Varo-Haub is committed to ensuring that students feel known and supported while being encouraged to take intellectual risks and develop greater independence. She believes that middle schoolers thrive when academic challenge is balanced with creativity and exploration, all within a community grounded in strong relationships. By fostering collaboration across the division, she helps students discover their interests, strengthen their sense of self, and prepare for a successful transition to the Upper School.
