With a similar team to last year's, Big Blue has high expectations and will not only look to regain the #1 state ranking, but also win the county and state championships.
Level 9 rhythmic gymnast Sarah Novofastovsky ’26 competed in the USA Gymnastics Championships in St. Louis in June—in April, she became one of the top 55 gymnasts in the country in level 9 to qualify for the national championships.
Sarah earned a Bronze medal in Ribbon in her age group and placed seventh for all age groups in Ribbon. She also placed among the top 25 gymnasts in the country for level 9 juniors.
A Pingry student since Kindergarten, Sarah has been a rhythmic gymnast for eight years and trains for 25 hours every week. She has been competing around the country since age six and earned a Bronze medal in Italy three years ago.
