Collaboration and community lie at the heart of a Pingry education. Students work together to solve problems, confer with teachers and advisors, and encourage one another to take advantage of the opportunities before them. Community support of Pingry provides incredible opportunities to our students, and participation in the 2022 Pingry Fund is especially vital with all of our students back on campus, eager to learn, grow, and be better together.
On Monday, September 27 and Tuesday, September 28 the Pingry community will join together for Ring the Bell: Pingry's Annual Celebration of Giving in honor of Dr. John Pingry's birthday! With its name borrowed from the lyrics of our school song, Ring the Bell is about celebrating our community and school. During Ring the Bell, our entire community will have the opportunity to come together, celebrate Pingry, and demonstrate our support of Pingry's mission with a gift to The Pingry Fund. Members of the Pingry community, including the Board of Trustees, Administrative Team, Pingry Alumni Association, Pingry Parents Association, and Senior Class Gift Committee have offered a historic challenge grant of over $625,000. During Ring the Bell every time a new donor makes a gift of ANY size, Pingry will receive an additional $1,861 in honor of Pingry's founding year!!
To count in Ring the Bell, gifts and pledges must be made between 12:00 a.m. EDT, Monday, September 27 and 11:59 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, September 28, and must be from individuals who have not made a Pingry Fund commitment this fiscal year (July 1-June 30). Gifts and pledges can be made online or over the phone at 908-647-7058.
Students and faculty will be wearing Pingry spirit wear and sharing why they are thankful to be part of the Pingry community on social media. Donors will have the opportunity to win Pingry swag throughout Ring the Bell.
