Eleven seniors strong, Big Blue looks to equal its winning, 7-3 season last year.
Pingry's Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team, ranked No. 14 in the state on NJ.com as of May 10, defeated No. 7 Ridge in a huge upset on Thursday to advance to the county finals for the first time in eight years.
"Some of the strongest teams in the state are in our county, so to get the win yesterday was huge," said Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach and Director of Athletics Carter Abbott. "The girls played as a unit, and we look forward to carrying that momentum into Saturday."
They will face Bridgewater-Raritan in the finals on Saturday, May 12 at 12:00 p.m. at Torpey Athletic Complex in Bridgewater. Come out and support!
