Meet the seven Pingry seniors—equally committed in the classroom as they are in their sport—who earned this year's conference, county, Prep, and state honors.

Big Blue Athletes Earn 7 Individual State Titles This Winter

The winter weather may be curtailing the pace of school lately, but it most certainly has not slowed down Big Blue student athletes. An impressive five athletes, spanning four different winter teams and in seven separate events, took home gold in their respective state tournaments recently. Worth noting is that they claimed their individual victories at overall state championships, where their competition included students from large public and non-public schools alike. These are events where the best of the best across the state vie for top honors in their sport at the end of the season. Pingry answered that call on seven separate occasions, and even, in the case of swimming, with a few All-American times. Several other Big Blue athletes placed in the top 10 in the state either individually, in relay events, or both.
