Head Coach: Aleksander Breznikar

Last season's highlights:
Thanks to both returning leaders and young players, along with the direction of Head Coach Misha Klochkov and Assistant Coach Jeffrey Jenkins, the 2017-18 Varsity Water Polo Team put together a strong season. Led by senior captains Victor Vollbrechthausen '18, Matthew Stanton '18, William Fallon '18, and Jonathan Epifano '18, the team reached the finals of the Garden State Invitational (they won in 2016), losing only to rival Lawrenceville.

What to watch for this season:
• Aleksander Breznikar assumes the role of Head Coach this season, and looks to lead the team to another successful season.

• This year's captains include Benjamin Ingrassia '19, Grace O'Mara '19—the first female captain since 2010—and Kevin Ma '19.

• Having lost six seniors to graduation, the team, consisting of many underclassmen, hopes its young players will contribute lots to this year's efforts and begin to step into leadership roles.

• Coming off a close loss to Lawrenceville in the state tournament, the team is hopeful to once again go deep in the tournament and ultimately defeat their biggest rival.

Full-court press:
"We are a relatively young team. We have a very strong group of sophomores this season and two junior goalies who will have a real chance to take leadership roles on the varsity team." —Assistant Coach Jeffrey Jenkins
