Community Well-being During Remote Learning

The physical and emotional health of the Pingry community during this challenging time is a top priority, and we realize that the ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 has been stressful for many. In an effort to mitigate some of this stress for our families, the School launched the Community Well-being Collaborative (CW-bC), whose priority is taking the pulse of students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff, sharing resources with the community, and leveraging both in-house and external expertise in support of collective wellness.

We invite you to access the key resources below, organized thematically. Please check back, as the page will be updated regularly.

Brooklyn Friends School invites you to attend a June 2nd Justice for Ahmaud Zoom Community Event. This community gathering is being organized by members of the IRunWithMaud Committee in collaboration with the BFS Office of Service Learning & Civic Engagement. The family and friends of Ahmaud Arbery will join us to share their personal experiences in the aftermath of his murder and what this tragic journey means for them and for all of us. Our guests will discuss their perspectives on systemic racism, policing, accountability, and justice in America - for Ahmaud and for all Black and Brown bodies. They will also emphasize what each of us - young and old - can actively do to seek justice and create change rather than sitting idly by. Click Here to get the details and RSVP.
