Pingry Reunion 2020
WELCOME to Reunion ... The Virtual Edition!
Who would have guessed last spring that our traditional Reunion Weekend celebration would need to be cancelled this year? We share in your disappointment about not gathering on campus together—especially during these challenging times when we need connection more than ever.
Since we cannot celebrate in person, we went back to the drawing board and have designed this “Virtual Reunion” experience instead. Will it even come close to standing in the sunshine with your friends at the Reunion lunch or partying the night away in the athletics center? Nope, but we hope it will give you a chance to connect—or maybe even to reconnect—with what makes the Pingry community so special. Grab a cold beverage, text your friends, and know that we're missing you. We hope you’re all staying healthy and safe, and we look forward to the time when we are able to meet on campus once again.

Access instructions were emailed to the class. Please contact Katrina Musto if you need the link.
Saturday, May 16
1:00 p.m. EDT -- Back to the Classroom with Mr. Tom Keating
(CLOSED -- This class is now full)
The legendary, charismatic, English teacher named Mr. Keating who inspires his students long after they've graduated and who has an interesting connection to his desk? We're not talking about the lead character in the film Dead Poets Society. We're talking about Pingry's very own Mr. Keating, a beloved faculty member since 1988 who continues to sit at a desk in the hallway in order to be more accessible for his students. Here's your opportunity to spend a fascinating hour discussing three ethical dilemmas carefully selected from his extensive course list of 100 such dilemmas, some of which include: Should you use a so called "nanny-cam" without telling the person they're being recorded? Should you represent the senior partner at your law firm for a DUI violation if you subsequently learn it's their fourth such arrest and a serious personal injury is involved? What are some of the decisions you make when faced with tough choices and ethical dilemmas?
2:00 p.m. EDT -- Back to the Classroom with Mr. Nigel Paton
(CLOSED -- This class is now full)
A member of the Pingry faculty for 22 years, the Oxford-educated Mr. Paton is a member of both the English Department and the Visual Arts Department. Mr. Paton's course load this spring includes both AP Art History and three sections (!) of Shakespeare, and his calming accent alone will melt all of your stress away. Join us for an interactive, "remote learning" version of his very popular AP Art History course and be prepared to start seeing art in everyday places you might have never expected.
