Mom to Ashley ’29 and Riley ’33

Michelle is honored to serve as the President of the PSPA for the 2025-26 school year. This marks her fourth year on the PSPA Board. An active and enthusiastic volunteer, she most recently served as the PSPA First Vice President, where she chaired the MLK All-School Day of Service event and the Thanks-For-Giving Drive. Her previous volunteer roles on the Board include Middle School Representative and Lower School Volunteer Coordinator. Additionally, she has volunteered as a Class and Grade Parent, Lower School Arts and Beautification Volunteer, and Lower School Library Volunteer. She highly values the opportunity to give back to and connect with the Pingry community.

Michelle is a proud alumna of Pingry from the Class of 1998, having joined the school in 1988 as a third grader in Miss Matheu's homeroom. She is excited for her two children to continue the legacy and is thoroughly enjoying her experience as a parent this time around.

Michelle graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree and has an MBA from New York University. Before becoming a full-time mom and volunteer, Michelle worked at Citigroup in Global Markets trading equity derivatives. She lives in Berkeley Heights with her husband, Scott, and two children.

Outside of Pingry, Michelle enjoys volunteering in the wider community, singing (especially karaoke), playing board games and solving puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mom to Ziv ’25 and Akiv ’28

Usha and her husband Deneb joined the Pingry community in Fall of 2021 when Ziv joined Upper School as a Freshman. She has been an active member of the PSPA community by serving on the MLK day operations committee for the past 3 years, bimonthly Bear Pause volunteer and recently Form III/IV representative on the PSPA board and planning Big Blue Pride events.

Usha and her family have lived in Short Hills NJ since 2014. She has served on the Millburn schools PTO boards for 6 years as VP Programs and VP Membership running events like kids socials, readathon, class graduations and parent socials. Within her community she is on the parent board of the Scarlet swim club where her boys have been swimming for 10+ years, Home Tour of Short Hills committee member (fundraiser for The Warehouse NJ) and runs the food kitchen at a temple in West Orange. She is very passionate about giving back to the community she belongs to.

Usha has a degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai, India. She has been working at Anthology Inc. (formerly Blackboard Inc.) as a Director of Technical Services supporting their professional services business for 20+ years.

Usha is very excited to serve on the PSPA board for a second term to serve the broader community and foster new connections in her new role.

Mom to Nyle ’28 and Wali ’31

Tania and her husband, Shehzad, joined the Pingry community in the fall of 2018. They have a son Nyle, who started in 4th grade and another son, Wali, who joined Pingry in Kindergarten. Tania has been an active volunteer at Pingry and is a returning board member. Tania has helped with admissions events, the book fair, bingo night and MLK Day of Service amongst other various efforts. 

Tania grew up in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E and moved to New Jersey to get her Bachelors of Arts in Communications from Rutgers University. With sixteen years work experience in financial services, most recently at the London Stock Exchange Group, Tania has taken time off from the corporate world to focus on her and her husband’s real estate investment company and to focus on personal interests, family and community. 

Tania has volunteered her time on various non-profit boards and benefit committees related to child education and advocacy, women’s rights and healthcare including the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship, Development in Literacy, SK Memorial Cancer Hospital amongst others. 

Tania lives in Short Hills with her family and enjoys good food, traveling and entertaining. She is excited to join the Pingry PSPA Executive Board this year as Vice President of Parent Socials.

Mom to Mari ’25, Jared ’28, and Joely ’28

Darby and her husband, Mark, joined the Pingry community in the fall of 2021. They have three children: their daughter Mari, who started at Pingry as a freshman and graduated last spring, and twins Jared and Joely, who joined in sixth and eighth grade, respectively.

Darby holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She spent 14 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in accounting and advisory services before transitioning to focus on family and local community. Prior to joining the Pingry community, Darby was actively involved in her local school district, serving in various leadership roles, including Treasurer and President of the PTO.

She currently serves on the board of the Vein of Galen Malformation (VOGM) Support Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families affected by this rare condition, as well as the specialists who treat it. The cause is especially close to her heart, as her daughter Joely was diagnosed and successfully treated at a young age.

At Pingry, Darby has volunteered in Admissions, the MLK Day of Service, and served as co-chair of Common Ground Speaks. She’s excited to continue contributing to the community in her new role as VP of Communications.

In her free time, Darby enjoys cooking and entertaining, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Mom to Charlotte ’35

Wen is excited to be back with the PSPA, having previously served as the Kindergarten and First Grade Representative. In that role, she worked closely with the Bingo Night Committee to help organize one of the Lower School’s most beloved events, Bingo Night. 

Wen and her husband, Ping, joined the Pingry community in fall 2022 when their daughter, Charlotte, started Kindergarten. Since then, Wen has been an active volunteer in Lower School activities, supporting the Book Fair, and various PSPA-led events.

A graduate of The College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Wen spent ten years as a tax professional in the financial and pharmaceutical sectors. After the birth of her son, Evan, in 2021, she stepped away from her career to dedicate more time to her children’s early education and school involvement.

When she’s not volunteering, you might spot her hiking, doing yoga, or planning the next family vacation. Ikebana and the tea ceremony are her latest pursuit. She also loves giving back, whether through local charities or community events!

Mom to Jared and Alenna ’28 

Kenna and her husband, Alix, joined the Pingry community in the fall of 2012 when their son, Jared, started kindergarten followed by their daughter, Alenna, joining three years later in kindergarten. From the beginning of their Pingry journey, Kenna has served the Pingry community in a variety of capacities including as a Lower School class parent (2x), lunchroom coordinator, parent social host, Book Fair volunteer, PSPA Nominating Committee member (2x), and co-Founder of the Pingry Parents of Black Children (PPBC) affinity group. Kenna looks forward to now serving on the PSPA Executive Board as the Recording Secretary. She has experience in this capacity having served on the Delbarton Mothers Guild Executive Board as the Recording Secretary (2024–2025) and as Director of Equity and Engagement (2023–2024). Kenna also served as an Ex-Officio Board Member of the Delbarton Parent Council on Diversity and Inclusion. She is the immediate past President of the Greater Essex County Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. 
 
Professionally, Kenna is a Partner at Egon Zehnder, the global leadership advisory firm, where she serves as Global Head of Private Capital. She focuses on placements of senior-level executives at private capital funds and portfolio companies. Kenna also has a particular specialization in Chief Financial Officers and is active in the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and in its Consumer and Media, Entertainment & Sports practice.

Kenna is passionate about being a connector — of people to people, and people to organizations. She brings that ethos to her engagement at Pingry. Kenna earned her B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She and her family reside in South Orange. To maintain her sanity, Kenna practices yoga (almost) daily.

Mom to Joaquín ’25 and Matías ’27

Rossana and her husband, Bill, joined the Pingry community in the fall of 2021. Rossana has served as a Pingry Admissions volunteer, PSPA Form Representative, and captain parent for several school sports teams. As the PSPA Volunteer Coordinator for the 2025-26 school year, she is looking forward to continuing to build connections and foster community.

Rossana received her B.S. in Marketing from Bentley University and MBA from the Darden School of Business. She previously worked as a management consultant in her native Peru, focusing on education among other industries. In NJ, she has worked as a product manager in the pharmaceutical industry. Rossana is involved in community service, managed sports teams and has served on various PA roles at her children’s schools.

The Stevensons live in East Hanover with their dog Inti. Rossana enjoys attending her children’s youth sporting events, traveling and spending time with family.

Mom to Sebastian ’31 and Savannah ’34

Jennifer is looking forward to serving on the PSPA board for the first time as the Lower School Volunteer Coordinator during the 2025-2026 academic year. Jennifer and her husband, Jean Anderson Eloy, joined the Pingry community in the fall of 2018 when their son, Sebastian, started Kindergarten.

Over the years, Jennifer has been an active parent volunteer, participating in numerous PSPA-sponsored events. Additionally, Jennifer served as a 5th-grade class parent in 2023- 2024 and was a member of the PSPA nominating committee of that same year. Jennifer looks forward to engaging with parents and Pingry faculty in her upcoming role to further build and support strong relationships among the entire Pingry community.

With a passion for health and fitness, Jennifer received her B.S. in Exercise Science from The University of Toledo, Ohio, and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College. After practicing at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City for over a decade, Jennifer and her husband started a family and then relocated to West Orange, New Jersey, to support their children's education at The Pingry School.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys singing at her church on Sunday mornings, playing the piano, golfing, playing tennis, ice skating, fundraising for worthwhile causes, maintaining relationships with friends and family worldwide, and traveling with her family.

Dad to Selin’37

Mom to Bennett ’34 and Charlie ’36

Meghan and her husband Dan joined the Pingry community in 2021 when Bennett started Kindergarten followed by Charlie two years later. Meghan has enjoyed volunteering for the Pingry community in various roles, including as an admissions volunteer, serving on the Arts and Beautification Committee, serving on the MLK Jr. Day of Service Committee, and most recently as Book Fair Chair. She is looking forward to joining the PSPA Board as the Grade 2-3 Representative.    

Meghan earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and her M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania. After working as an elementary school teacher in both New York and New Jersey, Meghan decided to stay home with her two boys. She subsequently began volunteering her time for local organizations. Meghan serves on The Connection Board and the Overlook Auxiliary Board. She loves creating opportunities to bring people together to improve our community.  

Meghan, Dan, Bennett ’34, and Charlie ’36 reside in Summit with their adorable French Bulldog, Max. In her free time, Meghan loves playing tennis, cooking, skiing, and reading.

Mom to John ’30, Leo ’32, and Dean ’33

Hedy and her husband Emmanuel joined the Pingry community in 2024, along with their three sons John, Leo, and Dean. She has been an active and enthusiastic volunteer, contributing to admissions events, MLK Day, the Lower School Arts and Beautification team, and the Moving Up Day committee. She is very excited to be serving as the 4th–5th Grade Representative this year.

Hedy holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, where she had the thrill and honor of being a cheerleader for the Wolverines. Hedy was proud to be the first female trader hired at Chicago Trading Company, where she built a distinguished decade-long career — rising to Executive Director and leading both the equity and commodity derivatives trading desks.

After transitioning to full-time parenting, Hedy remained deeply engaged in education and community life, volunteering at her sons’ Chinese and Greek language schools and their various sports teams. An avid home cook, she is also a classically French–trained chef, having earned a certificate in culinary arts from the French Culinary Institute in New York.

Mom to Tyler ’30 and Avery ’32

Ying and her family joined the Pingry community in the fall of 2017. Both of her children began in kindergarten. Her son, Tyler, is currently a Form II student, and her daughter, Avery, is in Grade 6.

Originally from China, Ying moved to the United States for college. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College and later received her MBA from New York University. Before dedicating her time to raising her children, she built a career in both finance and brand management.

Ying has been an active and dedicated volunteer within the Pingry community. She has served as a class parent, library volunteer, lower school volunteer coordinator, and chair of the Moving Up Committee. This year, she is excited to join the PSPA Board as the Middle School Representative.

In her free time, Ying enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, working out, and attending Broadway shows.

Mom to Rohnik ’28 and Nikhil ’28

Swati and her husband, Sapan, live in Mendham with their twin sons, Nikhil and Rohnik. The family joined the Pingry community in the fall of 2015 when the twins started Kindergarten.

Swati is a physician in private practice in adult endocrinology in Parsippany, NJ.  She is a graduate of the accelerated 7 year combined BS/MD program at New Jersey Institute of Technology and the University of Medicine and Dentistry - NJ Medical School. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at UMDNJ-NJMS and later served as Chief Resident prior to completing her fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism there as well.  

Swati is looking forward to serving her second year on the PSPA Executive Board as the Form III/IV Representative, prior to which she served as the Secretary for 2024-25. She has been an active member of the Pingry community and has served in a variety of volunteer roles in the past including Lower School class parent, teacher appreciation luncheon coordinator, Moving Up Day volunteer, cohort leader, and Lower School admissions volunteer coordinator. She loves the opportunity volunteering provides to meet new Pingry families and collaborate with other Pingry parents on enhancing the student experience. 

When she's not with patients, you'll find Swati traveling with her family, checking out new restaurants, hiking and skiing, and relaxing at the beach.

Mom to Riley ’27, Violet ’31, and Jacob ’33

Rosie and her husband, Rudy, joined the Pingry community in the Fall of 2016, when her oldest, Riley, started in second grade. Violet and Jacob entered in Kindergarten.

She is very excited to be back on the Board, serving as your Form IV/V Rep. Rosie has served in many PSPA volunteer roles, including Book Fair Co-chair, Grade 2/3 Rep, and LS Arts and Beautification Co-chair. Two of her favorite volunteer opportunities has been the Library Read-Aloud for AAPI month and Big Blue Skate Night. Most recently, she served for two years as Pingry ‘s Rep for Common Grounds Speak.

Rosie grew up in Edison, NJ and graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Psychology. She spent a year in China, teaching English to college students and exploring the country. With a love for kids, she found her way back to her very own elementary school, teaching Kindergarten for 5 years, before having kids of her own.

Rosie and her family have lived in Westfield for the past 13 years. She enjoys baking, crafting, family game nights, and cheering on her kids at their sporting events.
