Magnus Health at Pingry

1. It’s a digital, student health management system.
2. It collects and tracks forms so that we can keep your children safe and healthy.

2. We collect over 12,000 documents for over 1,100 students each year. These documents must be manually reviewed and maintained by our nurses and athletic training staff.
3. Magnus' software meets all State compliance requirements.

1. Schedule your child(ren)'s annual physical after March 1.
2. All physicals for the school year must occur between March 1 and August 1.
3. All requirements must be submitted by the August 1 deadline for review and approval. See checklist here.

If your child(ren) wishes to take part in any school-related activity this summer, all Magnus requirements must be complete prior to their participation, which, for Upper School students participating in athletics, may be as early as June.

Please submit the required forms to the Magnus portal by scanning, uploading, faxing, or using the personal Magnus Health Mobile App for Android and iOS. Remember that all pages must be uploaded to constitute a complete submission. 

We strongly recommend submitting your health forms through the Magnus Health Portal rather than the mobile app. The Pingry Tech office is not able to provide technical support for the app. 

If you are submitting several forms under one section, all of the forms must be submitted at the same time. For example, the Annual Physical Evaluation is composed of either two (2) forms for Grades K-5 or four (4) forms for Grades 6-Forms VI. Once these forms have been completed in their entirety, you are ready to upload them. 

Please do not mail any documents to the School, as our nurses cannot process them. For the sake of confidentiality, any forms sent to the School will be destroyed.

It is important to note that students who participate in fall sports need to make sure to get all requirements completed as soon as possible. Students can not begin preseason practices without all necessary forms completed. 

Please do not wait until the last minute!

Each season (fall, winter, spring), a Health History Update (mandated by the NJSIAA) must be completed. If your child(ren) is on a sports team, you will need to complete this questionnaire (no physician signature needed) prior to the start of each sports season. An email will be sent to your account when this requirement is posted.

A Magnus Health emergency contact will only be contacted by school personnel in relation to a medical issue—different from emergency contacts in Veracross, who are contacted through the SchoolMessenger alert system in situations of school-wide emergencies and weather-related closings. Veracross emergency contacts are the ones often contacted at odd hours, e.g. 5:30 a.m.!
