Dear Pingry Community,

Following the July 12 letter from Search Committee Co-Chairs Stuart Lederman '78 and Katie Procter P '22, '26, as the search process for Pingry's next Head of School gets underway, let us reiterate the importance we are placing on the very first step of the search: listening. To this end, we are reaching out to invite your participation in the first of several feedback opportunities.

Below is a link to a brief survey that we encourage you to complete. In it, you will have a chance to provide input on qualities or attributes that you feel are most critical for our next Head of School to possess, in what areas you would most like to see change, and the extent to which that change would ideally occur, among other topics.

Your feedback will be invaluable as we begin to develop a formal position specification and evaluate candidates. We are committed to listening to you—our faculty and staff, current parents, alumni, current and former trustees, and parents of alumni—and to ensuring a search process that is both inclusive of, and responsive to, the entire Pingry community.

Completing this survey should take no more than 10 minutes, and we ask you to do that as soon as you are able. Please know that individual responses are anonymous and all information will be aggregated by our search consultants at Spencer Stuart. We appreciate your time and candor and encourage you to comment further in the spaces provided. We look forward to sharing details in the coming weeks about a series of on-campus "listening" meetings, which will include an opportunity to call in for those who don't live locally.
