Middle School Summer Math Work
Hello, Middle School Students,
We hope you're having an amazing summer filled with fun and exciting activities! Even though August is still a bit away, we want to help you get ready for your upcoming math courses. We have some review packets for you to work on if you’d like. These packets are mostly optional, with a couple of exceptions.
Here are the packets:
- Math 1: If you're taking Math 1 next year, you can try the problems in the Summer Review Packets for Math 1. These packets are not mandatory.
- Math 2: If you're taking Math 2 next year, you can work on the problems in the Summer Review Packet for Math 2. This packet is not mandatory.
- Math 3X or Math 3Y: If you're taking Math 3X or Math 3Y next year, you can practice with the Summer Review Packet for Math 3X or 3Y. This packet is not mandatory.
- Geometry Honors: If you're taking Geometry Honors next year, please work on the Summer Review Packet for Geometry Honors. This packet is mandatory, and your teacher may collect it, grade it, and test you on the material.
- Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry Honors: If you're taking this course next year, please complete the Summer Review Packet for Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry Honors. This packet is mandatory, and your teacher may collect it, grade it, and test you on the material.
Don't worry if you can’t solve every problem in the packet. It's okay to find some of them challenging. Whether the packets are mandatory or not, you can always ask your teachers for help when the school year starts.
If you have any questions about these materials, feel free to contact me at alasevich@pingry.org.
