It's the most wonderful time of the year here at The Pingry School! Students have returned, extracurricular activities are taking place, lots of learning is happening, and relationships are being developed. In addition to all of these exciting happenings across our campuses, Pingry is delighted to introduce you to the newest members of our talented team for the 2021-22 school year.

Boys’ Tennis
Big Blue won the NJSIAA Non-Public South sectional crown on Tues., June 2, defeating Ranney in the tournament finals, 5-0. Hugh Zhang (first singles), Sam Henriques (second singles), and Caleb Park (third singles) all won their matches, as did first and second doubles teams Ryan Burns/Miles Kelly and Walker Johnson/Asher Matthias. 

Boys’ Lacrosse
Harrison Josloff netted five goals and had four assists as top-seeded Pingry defeated eighth-seeded Holy Spirit, 19-4, in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA Non-Public B Tournament on Saturday. Avery Kirby also scored six times while Tommy Robertozzi had three goals and six assists. Oliver Duryee and Luke Engelke, who had three assists, both scored twice.

Girls’ Lacrosse
Claire Fernicola, Olivia Hung, and Jill Dugan each netted five goals in Pingry’s 19-6 victory over Paul VI in the first round of the NJSIAA Non-Public A Tournament on Wednes., June 2. Claire Keller added two goals and four assists and Bella Vieser also added two goals and one assist. Molly Parker had three saves in goal.

Big Blue fell to St. Joseph, 10-0, in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA North Jersey Non-Public A Tournament on Friday.

Down 4-0, Pingry scored five runs at the bottom of the fifth inning to secure a 6-4 come-from-behind victory over Union Catholic in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey Non-Public A Tournament on Tues., June 1. Niles Luke had two hits, two runs, and an RBI while Thomas Santana had one hit and two RBI in the win. Cole Moriello added two RBI. As relief pitcher, Jake Francis had seven strikeouts
