Welcome and Philosophy

Welcome to Global Programs at the Pingry School. In keeping with the spirit of Pingry's Strategic Plan, Global Programs prepares our students to be "global citizens and leaders of the 21st century who engage the world rather than seek sanctuary from it." To reach this goal, Pingry offers a globally relevant curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities that bring the world into the classroom and extend our program beyond the border of our campus.

Global Programs promotes cultural literacy and challenges students and faculty to see the world from the perspective of others, offering opportunities that have the potential to change participants' lives. By the time they graduate students will have learned how to serve interests beyond the school and themselves, thus "ensuring that Pingry leaves the world a better place for our contributions to it."
