Big Blue Summer Programs run from June 8 through August 28, 2015

Bringing back the best of Summer 2015 for two final weeks.  Activities will include free swim, sports and games, arts and crafts, nature walks, Tech Time, Minute to Win It, Challenge of the Week and  much more.
WHEN: 9:00 - 3:00
WHERE: Drop off at the Main Entrance
WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle, sunscreen, bathing suit, towel, change of clothes and BYOLunch

AM Day Camp: Daily 9:00 am - 1:00 pm 
LUNCH: Daily 12:30 – 1:00pm
PM Camps: Daily 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Extended Care

Before Care -  drop off as early as 7:30 am

After Care -  pick up until 6:00 pm

Big Blue Summer Day Camp in Basking Ridge

New for 2015, Pingry's Big Blue Summer Day camp is a half day camp with daily activities such as swim lessons, challenge of the day, Hi-tech, Tennis, Minute to Win It room, sports, arts and crafts, Show Time & nature walks. Campers are grouped by age and rotate through a fun filled morning throughout our beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities.  All campers receive a nutritious lunch and delicious snack, as well as a camp t-shirt. Combine Big Blue Summer Day camp with an afternoon offering, such as Mega - V, Pingry Hi-Tech or the new Performing Arts camp to make your Big Blue Summer experience a fun filled full day.

Mega-V Camp in Basking Ridge
Pre – K thru 8th

Mega-V Camp is back! A huge hit last summer; Mega-V Camp is built for fun. With games and activities to capture your child’s imagination, this camp takes an innovative approach to recreation and offers an array of creative games and activities including Mega-V Ball, Mega - V Bingo, Alien Invasion, Mission Impossiball, Hot Wheels challenge of-the-day/week, fun and games, and daily swimming lessons.

Pingry Performing Arts Camp (PPAC) in Basking Ridge
Pre – K thru 9th 
June 29 – August 7  1:00 – 4:30 

Campers will experience the thrill of staging a theatrical production while learning about every aspect of putting together a successful show.  Classes include on-camera, prop making, costume design, acting improvisation, singing, and dancing. In addition, PPAC fosters teamwork and goal setting, as each week of camp culminates in an on-stage performance in front of invited guests and Pingry’s Big Blue Summer campers.

Sports Camps in Basking Ridge and Short Hills

We proudly offer outstanding sport-specific camps throughout the summer. Echoing the Pingry philosophy of athletics, Big Blue Summer Sports Camps provide a competitive athletic environment while instilling the values of responsibility, integrity, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Camps include Miller Bugliari’s Soccer Camp (he just had his 800th win!), Pingry’s Golf Camp (Mini and Junior) and First Class Lacrosse Camp.

Travel Camps
Grade K – 12

Brand new for 2015, this camp offers a range of off-campus adventures to finish the summer. With Pingry counselors to guide you, broaden your experience with trips to Broadway shows, museums, the beach, baseball games, and amusement parks.  Campers can register for the day or for the week.

Basking Ridge Campus

Pingry Hi-Tech are designed to provide students with an advantage in computer science, engineering and entrepreneurship skills they can use throughout their life. Programs will include: Programming, Scratch, Alice, Python, Robotics and much more.

US Sports Institute - Pulse Premier Sports Camps

Pulse Premier Sports Camps deliver best-in-class sports education dedicated to young athletes of all skill levels at the finest facilities in the nation.

The following programs are on offer:

  • Pulse Premier Soccer Camp
  • Pulse Premier Basketball Camp
  • Pulse Premier Multi-Sports Camps

In partnership with the US Sports Institute, aspiring athletes of all skill levels will excel in this range of action-packed programs taught by highly-qualified coaches.

International Ivy Program

The International Ivy Summer Enrichment Program offers classes in robotics, video game design, computer programming, arts, humanities, science, business, brain training, magic, and sports.  The spirit of International Ivy embraces learning, exploration, and fun.
There are over 50 classes to select from.  New classes include (1) Java Programming - An Introduction, (2) Java Programming - Minecraft Mods, (3) Civil Engineering - Bridges and Earthquake-Resistant Buildings, (4) Biomedical Engineering - Designing Knee Braces, (5)The Engineering of Ice Cream, (6) Anatomy and Surgical Techniques, (7) Musical Revue - Let's Put On a Show, (8) Culinary Arts - Foods Around the World / Pasta-Making, (9) Camp Newspaper and Media Management, (10) Public Speaking and Youth Leadership, (11) Language Arts Boot Camp, (12) Vocabulary Builder and (13) Construction Kids - Vehicles.



Soccer for Life in Short Hills

Soccer for Life is dedicated to teaching kids the fundamental skills of the game while promoting the values of confidence, character, and selfesteem that will serve them for a lifetime.  With a core belief that soccer comprises both fun and fundamentals, Soccer for Life coaches emphasize the virtues of team play while providing each player with an individual program to maximize his or her skill set. Players learn technique, positional play, and the importance of preparation.


 Mendham Tennis Club at the Basking Ridge Campus


This is a program designed for serious players interested in USTA tournaments and high school tennis. The focus is on point-situated drills, match play strategy, mental toughness and physical conditioning. This camp is a Monday -Thursday camp (Friday reserved as the rain date). PRICE $325

This program is designed for players at the beginning to intermediate level of play.
The focus will be on:
     - Skill building of the basic strokes, using a variety of games that make practice fun
     - Preparation for match play through point-situated drills
     - Improvement in stroke consistency and rallying ability
     - Match play in singles and doubles
 This camp is a Monday -Thursday camp (Friday reserved as the rain date). This camp includes lunch, game room and free swim time. PRICE $375

The additional afternoon hours will provide opportunity for players to learn the fundamentals of match play, court positioning and basic strategies for successful singles and doubles play.

NJ Swim

Njswim offers year-round, private and small group developmental swim lessons for people of all ages and abilities.  Our program features an effective skill progression for each level that makes Learning Fun! Students at Njswim will be led through a series of safety skills that are designed to enhance the aquatic experience and instill self-confidence in a safe and positive atmosphere.

It is our mission to provide safe, effective and fun aquatic instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels. It is our core ideology that liberation of fear through a systematic desensitization approach to teaching is the most effective means of overcomes learning blockades and developing an affinity for the aquatic environment
