Annual Report
Thank You for Your Generosity!
With a resounding and heartfelt “thank you” to the many generous donors and volunteers who are recognized within its pages, I am pleased to announce that the 2007–2008 Annual Report for The Pingry School is now available for review. As part of our environmental and economic stewardship and sustainability initiatives at Pingry, we are no longer mailing printed copies of the Annual Report.
By any measure, 2007–2008 was a successful year here at Pingry. Some dimensions of that success are evident in the pages of the Report. Other notable achievements include the completion of our first full year in the new Carol and Park B. Smith ’50 Middle School and the impressive results for the Class of 2008 in what was by all accounts the most difficult college admission season in history.
The real measure of the year, however – and the school – is found in the halls, classrooms, and studios, on the fields and the stage, and in the experiences and accomplishments of our students. That Pingry Experience compels us to come to school each day, and it both flows from and, I believe, inspires your generosity. Thank you for your support of Pingry, and for your ongoing commitment to ensuring that future generations of Pingry students will have an experience at least as vital as today’s students.
