Pingry and NJ SEEDS Nurturing High Achievers

Pingry is pleased to announce that students from NJ SEEDS are once again meeting on its Martinsville campus for the 2003 summer session. SEEDS students are high-achieving seventh graders from area public schools who are working hard throughout the summer in hopes of transferring to independent schools in ninth grade. Read more...

Fun Fair Chases Away the Rain

In spite of the ominous clouds, the occasional sprinkling of rain, and the report of a deluge to the south, the PSPA optimistically set up the fun fair in the parking lot of the Lower School on Friday, May 30. No exam is too tough for Pingrys students, including the National Latin Exam. This year, 213 Pingry students who were enrolled in Latin or have completed a course during the current academic year joined the approximately 127,000 students from 50 states and nine foreign countries to take the exam. The Martinsville campus is set on a sprawling 235 acres of lush green land, with carefully manicured fields for our athletes. Where there is grass there are also Canada geese. Lower School Students Celebrate the Season in Song

The Lower School students presented a multicultural holiday concert that celebrated Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, winter, and the hope for snow. The band started the concert by playing Celebration Overture and Holiday Medley to set the tone.
