This year’s Lower School Spring Concert included an original opera written and performed by Grade 5 students and based on the Greek myth of Pandora’s box. Students wrote both the opera’s libretto and musical themes as part of their study earlier this year of ancient Greek history and mythology. Grade 5 music teacher Tom Berdos composed the music, integrating the students’ musical themes and lyrics. The Spring Concert was held on May 9, 2008.
