Students Enjoy Pingry Springtime Concert
June 5, 2007

The Wind Sinfonia and Upper School String Quartet performed for the entire Short Hills Campus student body on March 2, 2007 with an uplifting instrumental program. The Wind Sinfonia played “First Suite for Military Band,” composed by Gustav Holst; “Legacy,” composed by Brian Balmages; and The “Washington Post March,” composed by John Philip Sousa. The Upper School String Quartet played excerpts from the film music for “Pirates of the Caribbean,” composed by Klaus Baddelt, arranged by Ted Rikkets. The beautiful sounds of both the Wind Sinfonia and Upper School String Quartet offered a delightful musical demonstration to herald in the spring season.
