According to Chinese tradition, 2007 is the Year of The Pig, also known as Ding Hai. On February 22, 2007, kindergarten classes spent the day embracing this important cultural holiday by taking part in customary activities. Students made paper lanterns, feasted on dumplings, and dressed in red to keep bad luck at bay. They even created a dragon costume, which was paraded through halls. With the new year comes new beginnings and hopefully good luck for one and all.
